  2. One of the best books on project management I have ever read.

Thanks for your kind words about the book, Stefano. Hopefully you’ll also enjoy Succeeding with Agile when it comes out on October 30.

  4. Great to know another book of yours on the subject is in the press. Just added it to my wish list.

  5. Mike Cohn says:

Thanks, Stefano. I submitted final PDFs back to the publisher yesterday. I am completely done with the new book, which is a huge relief. You can read more about Succeeding with Agile on my site and get sample chapters from the publisher’s website (for a few more weeks). (Look for them on the bottom right of that page.)

    Hello Mike,

Unfortunately the links above no longer work. Is there still a place to look into those chapters?

    Thanks!

  15. Mike Cohn says:

I just checked and the links still work fine. I suggest trying them again.

  19. Isabel Margarido says:

    Good evening,

First of all it is a privilege to be talking with you, you are a reference in agile and metrics.
I was recommended your 2005 book ‘Agile Estimation and Planning’ and then I found this new book of yours, with the same title. Is this a revision of the previous one or is a revisit to the subject. Can you tell me difference between the two books.

    Thank you for your time.
    Best regards,

    Isabel

  20. Mike Cohn says:

    Hi Isabel–
I’m glad you liked Agile Estimating and Planning. Thank you for your kind words.

All that happened was that to help promote my new book–Succeeding with Agile–my publisher decided to release two chapters from the older (2005) Agile Estimating and Planning book.

  21. Isabel Margarido says:

OK, I misunderstood. Thank you Mike!
Your new book is on the same subject? Are you allowed to tell us anything?

  22. Mike Cohn says:

Hi Isabel–The new book is called Succeeding with Agile: Software Development using Scrum. It’s about getting started with agile (Scrum) and then how to get good at it. It’s meant to be the book you read after you’ve read an introductory book. Much more information is on the book’s website at http://www.SucceedingWithAgile.com
